Rahul Mishra — wildlife photographer in the field

Two Worlds.
One Purpose.

I live a life driven by curiosity, courage, and an unshakable love for exploration.

By profession, I am a cybersecurity evangelist — working with governments and global enterprises to build stronger, smarter, and more resilient security ecosystems. But beyond the world of technology, my heart truly belongs to the wild.

My fascination with wildlife began when I was just ten years old, spending hours glued to Discovery Channel, studying animals long before I ever stepped into a real forest. Over the years, I have travelled through many jungles across India, but Corbett National Park is my true home ground.

I am deeply passionate about tracking wildlife — especially tigers — understanding their behaviour, their individuality, and the powerful stories that live silently within the forest. Photography actually came much later in my journey. After years of tracking and observing animals closely, I picked up the camera not just to capture images, but to preserve emotions, memories, and raw moments of truth.

For me, the tiger I track and finally find is far more precious than the photograph itself — because it represents patience, respect for nature, and a deeply personal connection with the wild.

The Camera Arrives

After a decade of observation, the camera finally enters the equation. The first frames are imperfect — but the intention behind them is already pure.

The Portfolio Grows

Corbett, Ranthambore, Kaziranga — the forest collection deepens. Tigers, elephants, birds. Each image a record of an encounter earned through patience.
